• Pre-Drywall Inspection
    $299

A Pre-Drywall Inspection is one way to ensure that a house is built according to its specifications. “Pre-drywall” refers to a phase during the homebuilding process just after the installation of certain elements – such as the doors, windows, foundation, flooring, wall and roof components, plumbing and electrical rough-in – and right before the drywall is hung. This in-progress or construction-phase inspection is useful because drywall can obscure some aspects of the interior and make identifying or fixing any problems both difficult and expensive, once the new home is completely finished.

A Pre-Drywall Inspection is a full assessment of the home you are interested in purchasing, in alignment with North Carolina Home Inspector Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. You are more than welcome to accompany us during the inspection and ask any questions you may have.

After completion you will receive a summary of your inspection before we leave the property. A full report will be made available to you within 24 hours of the inspection. Our comprehensive written report serves  as your guide for as long as you own the home. It not only describes the house components and their condition, but also provides insight into what improvements will be necessary, and when. Our report can also help you set up a home maintenance program to take care of one of the most significant investments most people make.

Our goal is to ensure that you can live safely and  comfortably. I am always available before and after the inspection for follow up questions.
